In certain circumstances, TRIAL International may be obliged to retain your personal data for a longer period due to legal requirements or for statistical purposes. In this latter case, the data is rendered anonymous.

• Erasure (right to be forgotten): you can request the deletion of your personal data unless the data are still necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.

In this context, TRIAL International has an obligation of means. It must take into account the available technologies and their implementation costs, and cannot guarantee the complete erasure of data.

• Restriction of processing: you can request the restriction of the process of your data if:
  • You contest the accuracy of your data;
  • You don’t wish to assert your right to erasure;
  • You want us to retain your data beyond the retention period of their processing;
  • In case of a dispute, you request the suspension of the processing of your data until it is resolved;
• Portability: you can request to receive the data held by TRIAL International to transmit it to another entity;
• Objection: at any time, for a legitimate reason, you can object to the processing of your data if no principle of lawfulness prevails on your request;

• Complaint to a supervisory authority: you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland), in the member state of your residence, your place of work or the place where the violation occurred if you believe that a breach of current legislation has occurred in the processing of your personal data.
